Softball, Softball, Softball, Softball!
What more can I say. In between tournaments on the weekends, we get to watch our city team The Rebels! It is hard going from tournament play to city play. My patience grows thin, because I expect the girls to make the right play, so I have to remember, that some of theses girls have never played! Jeff has been coaching Camry's city league for 5 years, this being is 6th. He has a blast, even when George kicks him out. And yes, if you were wandering, he has been kicked out, in fact it was the first game of the season. WAY TO GO COACH! He takes it in stride, me on the other hand get pretty fiesty. Needless to say, Jeff loves to coach and he truly enjoys it and it just looking out for his team. He has definately learned a lot coaching girls, with all the emotions and hormones running loose on the field, it is surprising he hasn't pulled his hair out, but he manages pretty well! It must be that it is usually 2 against 1 at home! The girls usually winning! This year it has been nice, his 2nd cousin Amy and her husband Brett have stepped up and helped with the coaching this year. It really has helped take some of the pressure off Jeff, especially, because some days he isn't off in time to make the 5:30pm games. So far this season we are undefeated - first time ever, but who knows things can change, I just hope the girls keep playing their hardest. Camry is doing really well! She hit a homerun this season, and most games gets on base. She is playing Shortstop, which she does really well at, and she even does a little relief pitching, which she doesn't mind doing!
GO REBELS!
