Our First Volleyball Tournament

This past weekend we had the opportunity to experience our first Volleyball Tournament! and let's just say it isn't softball. It was different and yet a little boring. I think Jeff and I would rather be outside watching softball, in fact at one point Camry and her friend Kali said "hey! let's ditch this popsicle stand and go to a softball field!" But to make the best out of the situation they went off to the side and pretended to pitch to eachother and hit the ball with a water bottle. It made both of their dad's proud as they are the coaches of their softball team! We have had some issues with this Volleyball Club she is playing with, but regardless, Camry has made the best out of it. Her coach is young, but has taught the girl's a lot. You can tell they are a new team, because they still struggle with the talking on the court, which is very important when you play Volleyball. Even thought they didn't win to many matches, I was proud of Camry's attitude, when she told me that instead of getting mad, which her competitive edge brings out, she decided to just have fun and do her best. It is exciting though to watch her learn something new and different. And regardless how bad your team struggles, it is fun to watch and support your kids and in our case kid.

FYI - I am still working on our Hawaii post, so stay tuned for that!
